My son Marco will come back to Gemany in July. I don't know, whether I wrote you that his family is back from China since a year. Now they live in Viermheim near Mannheim. I think it's not so good to live separate from one another. But it's a crazy family and I am too old to understand how they live. It's their life I am far enough.

of course you cannot open the link tipp: My contribution IS the link. I think I'm to naive to know how I can handle the technical things. So don't worry, just read! I want to set a limerick every day for entertaining people! The next link tipp will be called: answer to ginabeate or praline1.

A few minutes ago I returned from my voluntary work at school. We have much snow but the air isn't as cold as the days before. Blackbirds are very hungry.

At the end of February one of my girlfriends of school in Switzerland will visit me to celebrate her birthday here. I invited her and she agreed - how wonderful! I know her since 46 years and she comes from Barcelona. The second girlfriend lives in Munich and we'll meet each other in this vacations. The third girlfriend has passed away already by cancer eight years ago. What a pity!

Now read the the next limerick tomorrow.

hello to jou all in this English conversations group !

I´m an old woman ( 84 )and since a half jear user in this
forum.I would enjoy to become a member of this group,my
problem is that I never learnt English at school,only in
a conversation-cours at VH.I can read and understand jour
letters but to write a letter made difficulties.
I will hope jou can accept me without looking to my
mistakes.

welcome in our group! We are happy about everybody who joins us here. It doesn`t matter
at all if you make mistakes. For all of us it`s just fun to write here and to repeat
our English knowledge. I think it is great that you have come into this forum and
I really admire that you are that busy at the age of 84. When did you take part in
the conversation course at the VHS? Have you ever had the possibility to talk or
write in English? Or did you do it just for fun? Anyway have a nice time here!

of course, it doesn`t matter that you didn`t read my contribution at once. And thank
you for your PN and that you missed me!! During the day I usually don`t write here
Only in the evenings I become busy!

Your voluntary work sounds great. Did you make a special education for that?
Here it is only possible to look for children`s homework after you have been
introduced for this special work. Some years ago I wanted to read for children
in a kindergarten. But the leader of it wasn`t interested in my work and in fact
I was rather disappointed and never again tried to do voluntary work.

To make a crochet quilt seems to take rather a long time, doesn`t it? Sometimes
I still make cards with cross-stitch motives which I send to my friends for
example for birthdays or at last for Christmas. But for that you need good
eyes!

Where do you get all the limericks - which are funny - ? I`m looking
forward to the next one.

Hi Regina,

this evening everybody gets an answer from me! First of all I wish you all the
best for the doctor`s result and that your front soon will be better. Meanwhile
my cold has gone and I feel much better.

Unfortunately I haven`t seen Moritz for more than 7 months. It seems that there
will be no change in the future. My son just is too weak and obviously does
everything his wife wants him to do. So he doesn`t take Moritz with him
when he comes to see us. Meanwhile I have nearly got used to this situation
although I am very sad and even angry about my son.

Isn`t it great that so many persons want to belong to our small English club??

As I am sure that also Gabi reads this text - here some information for her:
Maybe you are interested in an English chat on Sundays starting at 9 p. m.
for about an hour. At the moment I don`t remember the name of the chat room.
But if you want to know it I shall find it out.

This will do for this evening or better night.

thank you for your nice lines! Yes the job with the kiddys is fulfilling and no, I didn't need a special education. By the way, did you know that the verbs with an y at the end don't need to be changed in ies? So you can write ladys or hobbys, kiddys and so on.
The crochet quilt is growing slowly but I really have time.
I have a book of nonsense, the next limerick comes out tomorrow, each day one till the book will end.
What are you writing in the line "Text zum Link"? When I write Limerick, it looks like a link but there is none. So I like to set xxx.
Now I'll play a little Celtic Mahjong, that's funny - try it!
