I have to concern myself with everything. But more and more I am training my son with all of it - it's quite a lot including all the costs and preparing the calculation of the running costs.

We have just come back from shopping. Once a week we use the car for driving to the discounter and to the grocery store and buy all the food we need to survive, and some more. I am in charge of the transport and carrying everything up to our home on the first floor. My wife´s job is to prepare the meals, do the cooking and make me happy.

I just read your china trip again. It makes me want to visit all the places you have been to. Maybe in the next life as I tend to say.
Our camper is always standing around ready to go travelling.
Maybe this year it may not be Germany as it is a long way. I still have various doctor visits in the next weeks. The lungs seems a bit better with that very expensive Medicament. There is a danger that it affects the liver. As far as now NO! :-)
Udo, will you have to have cataract Ops?
I had both eyes done last year and the result is as I wanted it to be. One eye for the distance the other for nearness. I can see and read without glasses.
Now take care. I had both vaccinations. Could actually go out and about. But as Emil is younger that I, he is still waiting.

we have no invitation for the injection so far. Though we have a tel-number to make an appointment for the vaccination in a center we don't use it - better wait until our doctor has the material and the time to do it. Until now we aren't infected and hope to come over it.

Hello Rose,
Eventually my wife and I have got our appointment dates for the vaccination. The first is in exacty two weeks from now and the second in early May. I had tried endless times to get the dates by dialling the hotline number, however in vain. How frustrating. Then, by chance I discovered the online address and was lucky. Within a few minutes we got our appointments. But they want a lot of papers to be filled in. When I was printing the papers the machine suddenly stopped because there was not enough tuner ink . So I had to go to the shop and get a new cartridge.
Now we are waiting hoping that we will not get infected neither by the virus nor by influenza.

yesterday our son and his wife came for a short visit. They live in Hamburg, so it is not so very far, only a little more than an hour´s drive. Immediately after their arrival our son went in the kitchen to make coffee. He is rather good at it. We had bought some cake. The coffe was very tasty, however it was too strong for me. At night I couldn´t sleep. It was not before two or three o´clock that I dozed off.
Conversations with our son and daughter-in-law are always very good. We talked about vaccinations, the possibility of a family gettogether later this year, home office, etc. However the weather was not inviting so we did not take a walk after coffee.
Dear Yoli, maybe in summer, you and your Emil will decide to spend some days in Germany, nevertheless. There are lots od wonderful places to visit.
I am happy you are still interested in reading my report on one of my trips to China. You are right, China is so big, we only know the names of a few cities, Beijing, Shanghai, Hongkong, Canton. There are so many more. On TV tonight you can watch a docu about new animal and nature reserves in China. May be interesting. Do you want more to read about chapter of my trip?
